NAAC Malaysia 2020 Welcome Note

On behalf of The National Organizing Committee, we take the greatest pleasure inviting you to The Inaugural National Advanced Airway Congress (NAAC) of Malaysia In Conjunction With The 4th Clinical Airway Skill Training In Emergency Room (castER) 2020.

Monday August 10 – Wednesday August 12, 2020. 

This national event will take place in the enchanting capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, One World Hotel. An airway congress unlike any other, it is the first ever collaboration among College of Emergency Physician (CEP) Malaysia, Society of Critical and Emergency Ultrasound (SUCCES) Malaysia, Clinical Airway Skill Training In Emergency Room (castER) Malaysia; as well as airway enthusiasts from Anaesthesia and Intensive Critical Care, in showcasing and bringing you an amazing program. The theme for NAAC Malaysia 2020 is “Leading Successful Collaboration, Transforming Tomorrow’s Airway Journey”. The secret to improving, advancing patient care and safety in airway management is through conjoint efforts and understanding diversity.

We are delighted to have a number of world-renown plenary guest speakers including Dr Imran Ahmad from Difficult Airway Society (DAS) and Consultant Anaesthetist in Guys Hospital, United Kingdom; Dr Richard Levitan, Professor of Emergency Medicine, School of Medicine New Hampshire, United States, and Director of Airway Cam, as well as the world’s largest cadaveric airway course in Baltimore; Professor Dr Andre Van Zundert, Consultant Anaesthetist and Chairman of Discipline Anaesthesiology in The University of Queensland Brisbane, Australia; and Professor Dr Friedrich Puhringer, Consultant Anaesthetist in Kreiskliniken Reutlingen, Germany. In addition, there will be high-calibre, exciting and interesting updates and talks shared by our national subject matter experts, together with scientific research presentations. The 3-day program will offer you plenty of insight into the latest developments and innovations in difficult airways and therefore help managing patients in a safe, optimal and triumphant manner.

We will be expecting more than 300 foreign and local health care professionals engaged in airway management. It is indeed a multidisciplinary event, as well as a wonderful networking hub for nations, organizations and individuals to connect with one another.
